Who we are
We are William, Annabel, Matilda, Albert and Julia, and we are the Longe family. Our family has been farming in Suffolk for generations, and guess what our ancient family motto is?… “without food and wine, love grows cold”
Pretty cool for a family who run a farm shop no? It comes from a Roman saying involving Ceres - crops, Bacchus -wine and Venus -love.
Our farm has seen many changes over the 75 years since the shop first opened.
Originally an apple farm, we have been constantly evolving with the times, and now we are looking ahead to the future of farming which we believe to be a regenerative system that supports biodiversity.

Our Mission
✳︎ To restore the land that we are lucky enough to be the custodians of by farming for nature. To nurture healthy, happy grass-fed livestock to sell in our farm shop.
✳︎ To provide the freshest and most delicious food in our café, using the salads and vegetables we grow on the farm.
✳︎ To fill the farm shop with the very best produce from the Suffolk coast, the UK and sometimes beyond; sourcing organic where we can; to keep food miles low; favoring naturally grown food.
✳︎ To create spaces for more businesses at Grange Farm to help make a bustling environment for everyone to enjoy.
✳︎ And finally, we love a party, and so we run events throughout the year and we also have space to hire for you to create your own memorable event.
